Memorandum communicated to M. Cambon, February 27, 1907.
ON the 10th September, 1906, a Memorandum was communicated to the French Ambassador suggesting that, in view of certain considerations adduced, the French Government might see their way to prohibiting the manufacture of morphia in China by their nationals.
No reply having been received to this Memorandum, the inquiry is now made whether a communication on the subject may be expected soon.
